The LeXenomics Group, Inc. is a Kentucky non-profit corporation built by business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators and community advocates. Our comprehensive strategies and projects encompass a diverse array of new economic growth ideas – from business nurturing, to community connectivity, to the Arts, urban design and much more.
Because Lexington’s and Kentucky’s economy is so dependent on meaningful relationships across the entire spectrum of our city and state, LeXenomics endeavors to build working friendships with everyone who likewise desires excellence in the Bluegrass.
From 2010 – 2012, we operated as a 501(c)3 organization under the Bluegrass Community Foundation’s fiscal sponsorship. In June of 2012, with our growth, we applied for independent non-profit status with the IRS. As the IRS often requires 6-18 months to process applications, we have been allowed to operate as a (“temporary”) non-profit since June, 2012, pending our official approval.
